Our History:

Operation Getdown DJs came into existence in July of 1999 under the direction of a young entrepreneur; Stevie Dee. Stevie started the business at the youthful age of 14 and brought a lot of his youthful energy to his events. Word spread fast of this young entrepreneur and before he knew it he was booked a majority of his weekends. After 10 years of being in business and recently graduating from Governor State University, Stevie is now running Operation Getdown full steam ahead.

Since the demand for our services has jumped significantly over the past year, we've brought on 4 new incredibly talented young individuals to help meet your demands. They've gone through an intense training program to make sure they bring a professional and trustworthy service to your event. We're also trained in areas like public speaking, music programming, ethical behavior and crowd interaction. Things that we feel are essential for them to know when meeting your expectations and delivering unsurpassed entertainment.
